20 Control Tubs on Kelapa Island Dredged

The Blue Taskforce personnel of Seribu Island Water Resource Sub-agency dredged 20 control tubs of water channel on Kelapa Island, RW 01, Kelapa Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Island Sub-district.
20 sacks of mud were transported from the control tubs
Seribu Island Water Resource Sub-agency Head, Mustajab, said the dredging is part of maintenance and cleaning the mud and trash.

The dredging of the control tubs involved six personnel by using manual tools.
According to him, the dredging will still be run on Kelapa Island starting from RW 01 up to RW 04.
"There are 75 control tubs in total here on Kelapa Island," he added.
It is hoped the newly dredged control tub will also prevent thee area to be inundated during rainy season.
Meanwhile, one of RW 01 residents, Kelapa Island Urban Village, Kinam (37), supported and appreciated the inundation prevention run by Blue Taskforce personnel.
"Hopefully it will also eradicate mosquito nest inside the control tubs," he stated.
